Go ahead!

I have just had a phone call from Hazel giving us the go ahead for ordering the silk, so I have placed an order for 5m from the Berwick Street Cloth House for next day delivery. We had budgeted for deliveries in our budget and this means we will have it as soon as possible so we can get on cutting it out before Abi goes on work experience next week.
I am awfully nervous about cutting out such as expensive fabric as there are no margins for errors. After remaking our toile we think our pattern is now right but we are hoping to leave a reasonable seam allowance on the patterns in case something is wrong.
For the 2nd fitting we plan to have the body of the gown sewn together with the pleats done and one sleeve made and tacked to the body. For the sleeve you have to make it with the lining so that it hangs properly and we want to confirm that we have got the sleeve right before cutting out both as they use about a metre of lining and top fabric each.
